WINE DESCRIPTION: The nose shows deep wet earth, warm spice, sandalwood, juniper, red fruit, and subtle savory, sanguine notes. Powerful and concentrated on the palate, it is balanced by bright savory acidity and dense yet polished tannins, finishing fresh with a hint of blood orange.

FOOD PAIRING: The wine pairs beautifully with cold cuts and salami, hard cheese, risotto, roast meat, pot roast, meat and game stew, braised beef and egg pasta dishes, specifically carbonara.
