Gaja - Magari

The vineyard blocks that make up this blend are further away from the nearby sea, closer to the fertile hillside. The loamy, clay-rich soils here are known as terre brune meaning dark brown earth, ideal for the cultivation of wines with richness, depth and minerality. 2018 wines show elegance, freshness and finesse.

APPELLATION: Tuscany / Bolgheri

WINE DESCRIPTION: Glowing intense colour. Nose is polished, refined, focused and expressive, notes of eucalyptus, herbs and pine. On the palate fine-grained tannins surround a sleek core of black cherry, blackberry and licorice flavors, with fresh nuances gliding through a long-lasting and expressive finish.
